                                                                                     Our Vision

''Our Vision is for all of our children to feel safe, happy and supported. They will enjoy a creative and captivating curriculum that inspires them to reach their full potential.''

 Our Values and Curriculum Drivers

Our school Values and Curriculum Drivers are known as the 5R's/ These are represented by animal mascots. All children and adults know these well and work hard to include them in all that we do.

 Our Values

Relationships (Elephant) Relationships build a positive culture with kindness at the heart of all we do.

Respect  (Bee) Respect relates to how we are encouraged to treat others as we wish to be treated. We respect ourselves and others, our environment and all living things.

Our Curriculum Drivers

Resilience (Rhino) Resilience relates to how we learn from our mistakes and how keen we are to improve and persevere. We believe that our focus on confidence, self-esteem and the development of growth mindsets, in and out of school, leads to increased resilience. Our aim is for children to be critically evaluative of their work and for them to have the resilience to embrace criticism and further challenge as a learning opportunity.

Reflection (Penguin) Reflection relates to the ability to consider personal strengths and areas to improve in how our children learn as individuals. All children are encouraged to consider what is already known, by means of drawing on previous experiences and knowledge, at the onset of any task. It also involves the processes of analysing their own and others’ work, at all points of completion, and developing the ability to believe that they can always improve. All children take pride in their work and readily celebrate in their own and others’ achievements.

Resourcefulness (Squirrel) Resourceful learning relates to how curious all children are about things and people. Our children are creative, considering how they can best resource themselves independently in order to successfully complete a task and how motivated they are in furthering their personal learning journeys both in and out of school. Our children are committed to learning
